A quick heads-up on timing: Standard alterations usually take about 2 weeks. If you need them sooner, we offer rush options, just keep in mind a rush fee may apply. The only exception is if your garment requires us to special-order custom fabrics or materials, which means we won’t be able to do same-day service. The Fitting & Consultation
It all starts with a one-on-one session to see how your clothes currently sit and discuss how you want them to feel. When you drop by our office, we’ll take the time to map out every adjustment. We pin the garments, chalk the lines, and check the structural details, like pocket alignment and shoulder width, to make sure the final fit feels natural and matches your body perfectly.
The Bench Work
Once we’ve pinned your clothes, our master tailors carefully open up the original seams to start the real work. If a piece is too loose, we taper and reshape it to follow your silhouette; if it’s too tight, we carefully let out the fabric to give you more breathing room. From our quick 24-hour trouser hem service to rebuilding the complex lining of a heavy winter coat or a custom suit jacket, we match the original thread and stitching style perfectly.
Final Check & Try-on
Before anything goes out the door, we give your garments a thorough inspection and a professional press so they look brand new. Then comes the best part: the final try-on. We want to make absolutely sure you love the way your clothes move with you. Once the fit is completely dialed in, your upgraded wardrobe is ready for you to take home, wear with confidence, and make a statement.
